Food Minimum Policy

Minimums

A constant issue with member minimums is that they create an uneven flow of revenue and expenses throughout the year:  there are dead times earlier in the quarter followed by a rush of member dining towards the end of the quarter. This has made it difficult for staffing and has created service issues. The Board has decided to stagger the minimums to ensure a more constant stream of member dining activity:

A-F

Jan, April, July, Oct

First quarter will end in April at 133% of minimum

G-O

Feb, May, Aug, Nov

First quarter will end in February at 67% of min.

P-Z

March, June, Sep, Dec

No adjustment needed

 

                Members are allowed to request a carryover of their minimum one time per year by writing to the general manager two weeks before the end of the quarter. No minimums are carried over the end from one year to the next.


OUT OF STATE FOOD MINIMUM POLICY

Anyone out of state for a period of three (3) months or longer will be entitled to a yearly food minimum. This must be requested in writing to the Board of  Governors.
